The 8th Leuna Business Ball took place on 16 November 2024 - for the first time after a six-year break due to the pandemic and crisis. InfraLeuna GmbH welcomed numerous representatives of well-known companies, partners of the Leuna chemical site and representatives from politics and administration.

Last Tuesday evening, the Federal Employment Agency and InfraLeuna GmbH organised the 10th Night of Apprenticeships in the visitor information centre at the chemical site. In a relaxed atmosphere, numerous young people and their parents had the opportunity to find out about the wide range of training opportunities at the chemical site.

Last Saturday, 7 September 2024, the Leuna chemical site opened its doors and offered thousands of visitors the opportunity to take a look behind the scenes of one of the most important chemical sites in Europe.

14.08.2024 - 08.10.2024, weekdays 07:00 - 20:00: The blowing out of steam pipes in the course of planned commissioning activities of UPM Biochemicals GmbH may occasionally lead to increased noise development, sometimes also to steam leakage, in the vicinity of the biorefinery.

InfraLeuna is a practice partner for the bachelor's degree programmes in Applied Chemistry, Applied Computer Science, Chemical and Environmental Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Automation Technology and Mechanical Engineering at Merseburg University of Applied Sciences. Prospective students can now apply for a place on the dual study programme at InfraLeuna GmbH.
