Together for economic success: 8th Leuna Business Ball celebrates strong connections and a strong region
The 8th Leuna Business Ball took place on 16 November 2024 - for the first time after a six-year break due to the pandemic and crisis. InfraLeuna GmbH welcomed numerous representatives from well-known companies, partners of the Leuna chemical site and representatives from politics and administration.

After the festive reception, Sven Schulze, Minister of Economics, Tourism, Agriculture and Forestry for the state of Saxony-Anhalt, opened the event, which has become one of the most important social events in the region, with a welcoming address. Dr Christof Günther, Managing Director of InfraLeuna GmbH, then welcomed the guests to the splendidly decorated hall of the cCe Kulturhaus Leuna.
Presenter Stefan Timm-Zock hosted the evening's show programme, which offered plenty of variety from artistry and sand painting to a casino lounge with roulette and blackjack as well as magic entertainment. The ball also offered the opportunity to make and deepen valuable contacts in a relaxed atmosphere.
„As an exclusive platform for meetings, the Leuna Business Ball strengthens the network of players at the Leuna chemical site and beyond”, says Christof Günther, adding. „This is extremely important, as our location plays an outstanding role for German industry and makes a significant contribution to the economic strength of our region and our country.”
