Common safety requirements for the closed Leuna chemical site

A large number of legally independent companies that own real estate on the Leuna chemical site (site companies) have settled on the externally closed chemical site.

In addition to these site companies, there are also companies operating on the Leuna chemical site that have rented or leased land or buildings or are contractors of companies.

Clear rules for occupational and plant safety ensure high safety standards throughout the site. These rules were jointly agreed by the site companies and laid down in site agreements. They are binding for all companies operating on the site and implement applicable safety and accident prevention regulations.

All persons entering, driving on or working on the site must comply with the rules laid down in the site agreements.

The following can be viewed in the download area:

  • the site agreements applicable to all site companies, their contractors and tenants,
  • a presentation of the most important instructions for entering and driving on the site,
  • the SHE instructions 21.501 “Construction and maintenance measures” and 21.502 “Dismantling and demolition work/clearance status”, which apply specifically to contractors of the InfraLeuna Group.

Individual companies also have company-specific rules, which can be obtained from the respective company.

Site agreements

Here you will find an overview of the site agreements for the Leuna chemical site. These are valid for the entire site. For contractors of the InfraLeuna Group, SGU 21.501 “Construction and maintenance measures” and SGU 21.502 “Dismantling and demolition work/clearing status” also apply.
