Rail network
The InfraLeuna rail network on the Leuna Chemical Complex comprises 90 km of tracks and a total of 340 shunting switches.
The railway infrastructure also includes
two electronic signal boxes
two rail-bound vehicles scales
two flat-spot recognition systems
brake testing system.
The InfraLeuna rail network is connected to the track network of the DB AG at the Großkorbetha train station and the Leuna North train station. About 50 customer railway loading stations are served by the InfraLeuna rail network on the Leuna Chemical Complex. Operational control of the rail network is carried out via an operations center using a state-of-the-art operations control system.
